Technical description
Estimated Lifespan: The quality of the filtered water will determine the lifespan of the filtration system. For maximum longevity, regularly clean the filter and always use the clearest and purest water possible. For optimal performance, replace the filter after filtering 4000 liters of water or when the water flow significantly slows down or stops.
- Filtration occurs when you draw water to drink
Consuming untreated water may expose you to harmful microorganisms and increase the risk of gastrointestinal issues. Improper use of LifeStraw® Go increases your risk of exposure to harmful microorganisms and gastrointestinal issues. To reduce risks, follow these safety guidelines and inform yourself about water safety in remote areas. Never use to filter seawater or chemically contaminated water.
- Composition of the flask: polyurethane (TPU)
- Filter composition: 5% antibacterial carbon fiber (removes chlorine, organic matter, odor, improves taste), 71% ABS outshell (white casing), 24% hollow fiber membrane (removes 99.9% of bacteria and protozoa)
- Flask maintenance tips: scrub the interior with warm water and soap. Let air dry upside down to prevent stagnant water. Once cleaned and dried, you can store your flasks in the freezer to prevent bacteria.
- Filter maintenance tips: rinse under safe tap water and let dry.
