Features of the Tecton X 3 shoe
- Drop: 5 mm
- Cushioning: Composed of a dual-density PEBA foam, the midsole is designed to be soft and effective at absorbing shocks. Its ingenious geometry promotes smooth strides to enhance agility. The parallel carbon fiber plates have lateral fins to increase stability and promise powerful propulsion.
- Upper (the top part that encloses your foot): Durable Matryx fibers ensure maximum durability while its lacing system allows for a customized fit. Its high knitted collar acts as a gaiter to limit debris entry, while the dynamic design of the whole allows your foot to spread for more comfort over the kilometers.
- Outsole: The new shape of the lugs improves traction to enhance efficiency on loose surfaces. Strategically placed, the Vibram rubber offers perfect grip on a wide variety of surfaces.

Technologies
-
Meta-Rocker
The Meta-Rocker midsole geometry, specifically designed with a low heel-to-toe drop and a sculpted outsole radius at the heel and toes, creates a unique pivot point effect that promotes a guided gait cycle.
-
Matryx
Patented technology incorporating Kevlar threads to optimize foot support in strategic areas.
-
Vibram Litebase Megagrip
Vibram Litebase Megagrip is an innovative technology designed to significantly reduce the weight of the sole by decreasing the thickness of the rubber, while maintaining the same performance.
Vibram Litebase Megagrip allows for a reduction of about 40 to 50% in thickness, from 1.7 mm to 0.5 / 0.9 mm, depending on the type of sole, resulting in a reduction in tread weight of 25 to 30%.
This reduction in thickness does not affect the performance of the sole nor the risk of laceration. The result is a very lightweight sole with patterns identical to those of a traditional Vibram Megagrip sole, and thus with the same characteristics of traction, durability, and wear resistance.
-
Vibram Traction Lug
Vibram Traction Lug is a new innovative design concept that focuses on the key element of traction ? the shape of the lug. Vibram Traction Lug enhances grip, adds stability, and increases the contact area.
