Technologies
-
Gore-Tex
A guaranteed protection against the elements, even in heavy rain or snowfall. Gore-Tex technology makes the shoes waterproof and breathable.
-
Lowa Flex
To ensure the flexibility of the eyelets, each one is attached individually. These are made from leather or textile materials, whose soft surface prevents friction zones. Thanks to the mobile arrangement of the eyelets, it is also possible to lace up to the toes without creating too much pressure on targeted points. Conversely, the tongue is optimally positioned.
-
FlexFit
When the upper of a walking shoe is flexible, the foot's movement improves. The user saves energy, especially when climbing, and enjoys a higher level of comfort. Consequently, Lowa has incorporated a flexible zone and a Lace Loop lacing system in this flexion area. The repositioning of the eyelet and the use of a flexible tightening hook enhance heel support and facilitate foot flexion.
-
Vibram Apptrail
Outsole with a prominently marked forefoot for better grip during descent. Its profile provides excellent traction thanks to an increased contact surface.
-
C4-Tongue
This uniquely designed tongue significantly enhances the shoe's comfort. It incorporates more padding on the outer part of the foot while the upper end is much softer. This asymmetrical padding provides optimal support in different areas of the foot. To match the anatomical shape of the foot, the notches at the ankle are placed higher on the inside than on the outside. A flexible fold has been added to the inside.
-
X-Lacing
An optimal positioning of the tongue without pressure zones or slipping: this is what the X-Lacing technology offers. This special lacing system secures the tongue both vertically and horizontally. The result is complete independence between the instep height and the lacing system, making the lacing perfect regardless of the foot's shape. In this technology, the pressure from the laces is distributed between the eyelets and the tongue.
-
Roller Eyelets
Small balls installed in the eyelets allow the laces to pass smoothly and flexibly while minimizing friction to the maximum.
-
Vibram Apptrail II
The VIBRAM APPTRAIL II sole features a modern and self-cleaning profile. It demonstrates its exceptional capabilities, particularly when put to the test on challenging terrains. The distinctive heel front excels during descents.
