Technologies
-
HeiQ Fresh
The HeiQ Fresh technology harnesses the natural antimicrobial properties of silver ions to keep fabrics odorless. It uses recycled river salt, whose ions are naturally present in our environment and found in our drinking water, saltwater, and soil, effectively inhibiting the metabolism of bacteria to prevent the transformation of naturally odorless sweat into body odor.
-
Nylon Recyclé
Some of the recycled nylon fibers we use come from post-industrial waste, threads collected from a spinning mill, and waste from weaving factories that can be transformed into reusable nylon fibers.
Ultra-light yet durable, nylon is one of the strongest materials we use in our clothing and equipment.
-
Fair Trade Certified
In order to improve the living standards of the employees who make our products, Fair Trade is the first step towards fairer wages for the people within our supply chain.
We pay a premium for every Patagonia product that carries the Fair Trade Certified? label. This additional money is distributed directly to the factory workers. This program also promotes the health and safety of workers, as well as adherence to social and environmental standards. It also encourages dialogue between employees and management.
