The i-Run team says
Designed for seasoned swimmers, the Orca Apex Flex wetsuit for women allows you to perform at your best without restrictions. The most flexible model from the brand, it supports your open-water swimming sessions.
High-end, the Yamamoto 44+ neoprene on the shoulders requires 90% less force to stretch, easing your efforts. The Yamamoto 40 PF+ flexible material on the chest and back provides ideal elasticity for intense movements.
Under the armpits, the Yamamoto 40 FS enhances your range and promotes your ease while the 39+ ensures optimal buoyancy. Particularly hydrodynamic, it features SCS treatment to reduce friction with water and increase your speed.
For maximum comfort, the Ultimate Seal Collar technology offers a precise laser cut and specialized lining. The HydroLite process allows for a quick removal while the YKK R zipper prevents the wetsuit from opening during swimming.
The V-Fit cut is specially designed to meet the specific needs of the female body.
Our model Natacha is 1.75m tall and wears a size M.

Technologies
-
Infinity Skin
Inner lining that ensures a sensation of absolute freedom. Provides an unprecedented level of flexibility, typically associated with high-end suits.
-
Super Composite Skin (SCS)
Reduce friction with the water to increase hydrodynamics and thus swimming speed.
-
HydroLite
Allow for easier removal of the suit and make transitions even faster.
-
0.88 Free
The 0.88 technology was developed exclusively for Orca by Yamamoto to achieve the most elastic material to date. With a thickness of 0.5 mm, the thinnest neoprene on the market features a titanium coating to ensure greater thermal insulation. This revolutionary material, positioned on the arms and shoulders, thus provides greater freedom of movement while swimming.
-
Core Lateral Stabiliser (CLS)
This system provides additional support at the chest level to prevent excessive rotation and enhance the stability and efficiency of each movement.
-
Ultimate Seal Collar
To avoid any type of abrasion, all our suits have been equipped with a material that combines laser cutting, specialized lining, and reverse velcro.
-
Infinity Skin 2
The Infinity Skin 2 inner lining provides an absolute feeling of freedom. Designed from a highly elastic nylon composed of bamboo fibers, this technology is applied to our wetsuits to offer you greater flexibility with every arm movement. It retains body heat longer, reduces bad odors, and prevents the growth of bacteria in your wetsuit. Additionally, it is made from natural and eco-sustainable materials that prevent skin irritations and are not harmful to the environment.
-
Yamamoto 44+
This is the most flexible material in the Orca range. Stretching this neoprene requires 90% less force compared to conventional neoprene. The top-tier 44+ and 40+ constructions feature the Nano Ice SCS treatment, which enhances hydrodynamics to meet the expectations of the most demanding swimmers, reducing water resistance by 68%.
-
Yamamoto 40 FS
The Yamamoto 40, combined with Infinity Skin 2 technology and the Smoothskin exterior finish, offers athletes exceptional freedom of movement and maximum range during swimming motions.
-
Yamamoto 40 PF+
The high-end design of Orca wetsuits prevents water from circulating through. How? Thanks to a Power-Fit lining, providing a perfect fit for swimmers.
-
Yamamoto 39+
Cutting-edge finishes, premium neoprene, and optimal construction enhance the overall hydrodynamics of the wetsuit, allowing for increased swimming speed.
-
Yamamoto 38+
The Yamamoto 38+ ensures better compression for an optimal fit of the suit, enhancing the comfort of the open water swimmer. The SCS surface treatment is used to maximize the hydrodynamic properties of the suits, reducing friction with the water to allow athletes to swim faster.
-
Néoprène Yamamoto
Yamamoto is one of the leading manufacturers of very high-performance neoprene. Its label is synonymous with quality, technology, and innovation. Orca uses Yamamoto neoprene on all its products, a durable, lightweight, and high-performance material. The construction of the panels and the combination of these different high-quality materials position Orca wetsuits at the forefront of the industry.
-
V Fit
Our women's products are not merely adaptations of men's suits. They feature a cut developed exclusively by our athletes to deliver maximum performance.
-
YKK R
The YKK Reverse zipper prevents the suit from opening during exercise. Its length and size are smaller than those integrated into the rest of our suits. Thus, movement restriction is minimized, and flexibility is improved.
-
Gamme Flex
Maximum flexibility. The Orca Flex range is specifically designed for swimmers who have no technical shortcomings and who maintain a correct horizontal and elevated position in the water. These swimmers need additional flexibility so that their kicking technique is not affected by other factors. The minimal buoyancy of the wetsuits in this range is designed not to alter the position of triathletes, making it important that they naturally have a correct posture in the water. The appropriate materials provide the triathlete with a sensation of freedom in the water and offer, in addition to the necessary thermal insulation, a slight buoyancy to make swimming even more comfortable.
