Double Injection
For optimal cushioning and comfort, the midsole of the shoe is connected to the upper through a complex injection molding process. The upper part of the shoe is cast in a mold specifically designed for this purpose. This mold is then filled with several layers of PU foam. This is how the sole is formed and directly connected to the upper.

DynaPU
The midsole strongly influences the foot's rolling motion and the cushioning of a shoe. At Lowa, it is crafted from a unique synthetic material: Lowa DynaPU. This material retains its shape over time and with repeated use. Even when compressed a thousand times, it maintains all its stability and substance.
