+ The Nike Ultrafly has impressive qualities for trail competitions. A shoe with a carbon plate, it pushes you further and allows you to increase your pace. The grip (its traction on the ground) is optimized to improve your efficiency both uphill and downhill.
- Designed to break time records, it is not recommended for discovering trail running and for beginner runners. For this use, we recommend the Pegasus Trail model.
Why choose the Ultrafly?
New to the trail universe, it meets your challenges thanks to several elements:
- An innovative midsole that offers unlimited energy return.
- Shock absorption that withstands kilometers.
- A carbon fiber plate to increase your pace.
- A real sensation of lightness for more acceleration.
- A durable construction to withstand obstacles.
- Optimal stability to maintain smooth strides.

Characteristics of the Ultrafly
- Drop: 8 mm
- Cushioning: The midsole integrates a carbon plate and a ZoomX foam layer to create intense propulsion even over long distances. Particularly light, this combination rewards your strides with powerful dynamism, helping you gain speed throughout the course. At the rear, a flat base improves your stability while its rocker shape smooths transitions. To increase the model's resistance to moisture and abrasion, the midsole is covered with fabric.
- Upper (the upper part that wraps the foot): Designed in a breathable and solid material, it ensures a precise fit, intense freshness, and excellent resistance. A midfoot support area secures your footing. The classic collar comfortably accommodates your foot and limits friction. The thin tongue stays in place during your efforts.
- Outsole: Stamped Vibram, it offers maximum grip on dry or wet paths. Its chevron-shaped lugs optimize traction to firm up your footing on slippery ground. Whether uphill or downhill, you benefit from superior traction (resulting from the grip on the ground that allows you to move forward more easily) to progress without losing momentum.
