The i-Run team says
Embark on a 100-day challenge with the FitRun Challenge 100 Days by Turbulences Editions strengthening program. Daily 15-minute sessions, ideal for complementing and progressing in your running practice: overall strengthening work, specific workshops to improve your stride, your ability to run on all terrains, and even simulate elevation gain (D+).
Summary:
Coaches Christophe and Diego assess the running seasons of the athletes they coach each autumn. Every year, the same persistent request arises: to do strength training!
Born during the lockdown, the FitRun Challenge 100 Days is designed as a challenge. It involves real groundwork and consistency with the goal of boosting performance.
Aware that time is sometimes scarce and that the desire to run often outweighs the desire to exercise, the coaches have designed fun and short daily sessions (only 15 minutes!).
This is not a miracle program but an anti-procrastination approach.
Don't give up; the benefits quickly become noticeable. You'll enjoy incorporating these sessions into your routine or sports project. You'll record your performances inside the book and will soon be able to measure your progress.
This program is presented day by day with photographs, tips and tricks, and backup plans for the less experienced. Each session was created, tested, and then revised by the coaches themselves. The athletes of Fartleck coaching have benefited from these sessions, and the challenge has been tested by trail runners of all levels. The feedback is very positive!
About the Authors:
Christophe Malard? is first and foremost a high-level trail runner! He pursued his career alone for more than fifteen years, creating his own training plans. In 2009, S?bastien Chaigneau asked for his help in his sports career, and he finished second at the UTMB six months later. From then on, Christophe found a second career in sharing his knowledge and coaching athletes in their endurance adventures. He developed his coaching activity with Fartleck, for which he is a trainer, physical, and mental coach. For over ten years, he has led many athletes to victory or onto the podiums of the world's biggest trail races. He also collaborates with many "anonymous in the pack" who wish to undertake an extraordinary adventure.
Diego Alarcon is passionate about trail running, mountains, and outdoor sports, but above all, he is attracted to the raw and authentic side of trail running. He is a professional sports educator/coach and joined Christophe Malard? in the Fartleck Coaching adventure at the end of 2017. He has also competed in various disciplines, particularly in snowboarding and Spartan Races.
