Polyester Recyclé
The use of recycled polyester reduces our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source. It utilizes waste and reduces greenhouse gas emissions from production. It also helps promote a new recycling stream for polyester garments that can no longer be worn.
Virgin polyester naturally repels water and performs exceptionally well outdoors.

Fair Trade Certified
In order to improve the living standards of the employees who make our products, Fair Trade is the first step towards fairer wages for the people within our supply chain.
We pay a premium for every Patagonia product that carries the Fair Trade Certified? label. This additional money is distributed directly to the factory workers. This program also promotes the health and safety of workers, as well as adherence to social and environmental standards. It also encourages dialogue between employees and management.

bluesign
Since the year 2000, Patagonia has been collaborating with bluesign® technologies to assess and reduce the consumption of natural resources in its raw material supply chain, and to improve the management of chemicals, dyes, and other finishing products used during production.
